Daniel Ventricelli is a 2011 RHP/OF, 2B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Woodbury, NY who attends Syosset. Ventricelli has a young, slender build. He throws with an overhand release on the mound, short arm action, needs to m=work to keep fastball down, curve ball is best pitch, has good shape on it, showed ability to pitch with it, not good swings of it. Also a solid defender in the outfield, aggressive contact hitter at the plate, like to put the ball in play. He is a good student.
