Jerad Curry is a 2011 C/1B with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Buford, GA who attends Mill Creek HS. Well proportioned athletic build, very good present strength. Very good hitting tools, slightly open stance, moves weight through contact, quick strong hands, looks to drive the ball to the gaps, some lift in swing, showed his power, ball comes off the barrel hard, does a good job staying short and quick to contact. Raw arm strength behind the plate, long release, still working on footwork, looks new to catching, receives the ball cleanly. Will hit enough to play any position, ability to develop catching skills key to prospect potential. Verbal commitment to Chipola JC.
