Nick Del Buono is a 2009 OF/P with a 5'10'', 155 lb. frame from Monterey, CA who attends Great Oak HS. He has a high waisted build with minimal present strength. Del Buono is an outfielder who is a 7.87 runner with 66 mph arm strength during drills. He made accurate throws but needs work on moving through balls in the outfield and improving his throwing mechanics. Offensively, Del Buono hits from a square, straight stance with a wrapped bat at the start of his swing. He has a long reaching swing and will benefit from more strength. Del Buono also took a turn on the mound, throwing 72-75 mph with his fastball along with a 59 mph curveball and 61 mph change up. He throws from a high effort delivery with a slinging arm action.
