Pablo Sanchez is a 2008 C/3B with a 5'8'', 148 lb. frame from Albuquerque, New Mexico, who attends Valley High School. Sanchez is a young player with a lean, and athletic frame. He has position flexibility being able to play both third base and catcher. Behind the plate he showed solid arm strength in game action with online throws to the second base bag. He receives. At third base he showed range to his glove side, and he made some nice plays in game action making accurate throws across the diamond. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from a slightly open stance. He is a line drive hitter with a solid approach. Sanchez shows bat speed, and he stays balanced through his swing. He is a contact hitter who stays inside the ball and hits to all fields. Sanchez is a good student as well.
