Freezy Smalls is a 2008 OF/P with a 5'10'', 190 lb. frame from Barstow, California, who attends Barstow High School. Smalls has strength in his body. Defensively he moves well in the outfield. He got good jumps in the outfield covering a great deal of ground in all directions. Smalls has solid arm strength (80 mph) with a long arm action. He shows very good hustle in the outfield. At the plate he is a left handed hitter who hits from a very open and upright stance. He takes an aggressive stride and he takes an aggressive swing. Smalls shows bat speed through the zone. He showed the ability to hit to all fields. He also had multiple bunt attempts in game action. Once on the bases he showed instincts and the ability to take the extra base. There is upside to his overall game. Smalls is a very good student as well.
