Kyle Dowdy is a 2011 1B/P/3B with a 6'0'', 195 lb. frame from Rancho Santa Fe, CA who attends Francis Parker HS. Big frame, fullback build, extra strong for age, appears bigger than list. Good idea at the plate, good rhythm/load to swing, aggressive hack, looks to drive the ball, ball carries on contact, line drive/mid field approach now, lift power to come. Also pitched, good arm speed, loose for his build, FB topped at 84 mph with good run/sink, nice feel for sharp 11/5 curveball, has pitching tools to develop. Good student.
