Kevin Dwyer is a 2007 RHP/OF with a 6'3'', 165 lb. frame from San Diego, CA, who attends Henry HS. He has a tall, lean, and projectable frame. On the mound he throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with solid arm action and arm speed. Dwyer throws with minimal effort and stays balanced through his slow and deliberate delivery. His fastball topped out at 81 mph with good arm side run, and he projects to throw harder in the future. Dwyer also mixes in a 73 mph curveball with depth, and a 75 mph change with good sinking action. Dwyer does throw a two-seamer at times at 75-76 mph with life in the zone. He did not allow a run in his 3 innings of work while striking out 3. At the plate he hits from an open and upright stance with a toe tap trigger. He shows solid bat speed, and has the ability to hit to the opposite field. Dwyer has projectable power with good extension. Defensively he has a quick and strong arm from the outfield, and he moves well. He is also a good student.
