Jason Bordeaux is a 2007 3B/P with a 6'3'', 190 lb. frame from Lakewood, WA, who attends Bellarmine Prep. He has a tall frame with present strength. Defensively he moves well at third base with solid actions and arm strength at 76 mph. At the plate he hits from a slightly open and upright stance with an excellent approach. He doesn’t take a stride and uses a short, compact swing and generates bat speed through the hitting zone. He drives balls to all fields with strength and raw power, and has good extension to his swing. Bordeaux uses a slight uppercut and lifts balls with projectable power. He projects as a middle of the order run producer at the next level. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a long and loose arm. Bordeaux produces solid arm speed with low effort in is delivery. His fastball topped out at 80 mph, and he mixed in a 68 curveball and a 68 mph changeup. He is also a very good student.
