2006 Atlantic Coast Underclass Showcase
Ryan Beyel is a 2009 SS/3B/OF from William Byrd HS in Vinton, VA with a 5'10", 160 lb. frame. Ryan has a lean athletic build and ran one of the best 60-yard dashes at the showcase. (7.08) At the plate Ryan has a short swing with good hand quickness. He has a tendency to be off-balance at times and will drive the ball harder if he gets all of his weight moving in a positive direction. In the outfield Ryan has clean actions with good carry on his throws. He showed solid second base tools in the infield but looks to be a stronger outfielder at this point. Ryan is a young kid with solid athleticm that should attract attention from many mid-level colleges in a few years.
