Steven Blanco is a 2007 SS/2B that attends Hialeah Miami Lakes HS and resides in Hialeah, FL with a 6'0", 160 lb. frame. Steven has a lean athletic build with room to fill out some. At the plate Steven has good balance in his swing with solid swing fundamentals. Steven shows his best contact to the middle of the field. Right now Steven really just lacks a little bit of strength in his swing. In the field Steven best projects at second base. He has solid body control and footwork but tends to push the ball when he throws it. Steven is a player that could attract the attention of some smaller colleges.
