2005 Ohio Valley Top Prospect
Mark Jackson is a 2006 RHP/3B from Champion HS in Warren, OH, with a 6'2'', 170 lb. frame that is slender and projectable. He has a long arm action and a standard 3/4's release point. Jackson's delivery is low effort and he repeats it pretty well. His fastball topped out at 78 mph with some arm side life. His 66 mph curveball has a slurve type of break and can be tightened up some with work. He also threw a 68 mph change up with some sink. Jackson mixed his pitches up well and threw strikes with an idea. He projects to add some velocity in the future. He is an excellent student off the field.
