BJ Hermsen is a 2008 RHP with a 6'7'', 240 lb. frame from Masonville, IA who attends West Delaware. Powerful body. Best we've seen him this year, better arm speed and used entire body well. Some arm side run on FB and pounds the zone with it. Gets on the side of his CB to create 10/4 break. Changeup is also a quality pitch. Excellent command of everything. Spins it well and could be power hammer if he gets on top of it. Consistently 91-92 from windup. A big power/finesse type who is among the best pitching prospects in the country.
