Reece Bundick is a 2014 SS/RHP/C with a 5-7 175 lb. frame from New Braunfels, TX who attends Canyon HS. Compact strong athletic build. Versatile defensive player, sound fundamentals in the middle infield, good hands at the ball, throws have carry, shows balance and athleticism, can improve foot quickness and range. Young catching skills but has the tools for that position, nice arm strength with carry from a long arm action, might be his future position. Right handed hitter, open stance, aggressive approach, swings hard and will over swing at times, gets the ball in the air and looks to drive it, shows some gap power. Also pitched, good use of lower half in delivery, primary fastball pitcher, fastball topped out at 82 mph, occasional curveball and change up. Hustling high energy player. Good student.
