Ryan Chapa is a 2017 2B/SS with a 5-3 125 lb. frame from Corpus Christi, TX who attends Tuloso-Midway HS. Smaller young build, minimal present strength. Polished defensive actions for his age, moves to the ball with good footwork and balance, soft hands and fields the ball cleanly, short quick arm action and release. Left handed hitter, big leg kick trigger, aggressive swing, can lose balance at times, handles the barrel and makes spray line drive contact. Hustling high energy type of player who plays faster than his measurables. Very good student.
