Joe Hernandez is a 2016 RHP/3B, OF with a 6-3 232 lb. frame from Vista, CA who attends Rancho Buena Vista. Tall, strongly built, mature frame. Ran an 8.01 60 yard dash. Attacks the ball in the outfield and gets his momentum behind his throws. Shows solid raw arm strength but needs to stay on top of his throws. Consistently accurate and has good footwork. Bats right-handed, works from a balanced setup and uses a line drive swing path. Flashes bat speed and power potential.
