John Callahan is a 2016 SS/2B with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Ashburn, VA who attends Stone Bridge. Tall, strongly built frame with room to continue adding strength. Ran a 7.37 60 yard dash. Has a live arm across the diamond and has good carry. Has smooth defensive actions and makes the plays consistently. Has shortstop arm strength. Bats right-handed, works from a wide setup and flashes good bat speed. Uses a small leg kick trigger and hits effectively to the opposite field. Has an aggressive approach. Good student.
