Jose Campos is a 2016 RHP/3B, MIF with a 6-1 178 lb. frame from Winnetka, CA who attends El Camino Real. Large frame, lean build. Pitches from a three quarters arm slot with a compact arm action. Good balance and posture, fluid delivery, located fastball to both sides of the plate consistently. Deep downer break on 12-6 curveball, tighter shorter breaking slider version of breaking ball as well and changeup rounds out quality depth of offspeed arsenal with deceptive arm speed and action. Repeats delivery well and projects. Also showed strength generated power with the bat with a long uppercut swing with good balance. Good student.
