Greg Lamb is a 2016 SS/3B, OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Orange, CA who attends El Modena HS. Large, athletic build, high waist with long limbs and a lean, projectable frame with room to fill out. Ran a 6.99 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, remains low and quick to the ball, soft hands that play well at ball, circles well and works through it, quick arm at release with strength to remains on the left side, moved well charging in. Fields the ball out front in the outfielder, taller at release, short and quick arm action with carry out of hand, comes through the ball well. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wide base and and a medium hand set. Weight begins on backside, short bat path to the ball with a long finish through the ball. Upper body swing, shows bat speed through the zone with occasional lift at contact, middle of the field approach, comes off the barrel well when squared to pull side. Named to West Coast Top Prospect List. Very good student.
