Thomas Halcomb is a 2016 RHP with a 6-3 165 lb. frame from Plano, TX who attends Liberty. Extra large frame, long limbs, lean build, high waists, projects well with added weight. Ran a 7.15 60 yard dash. Right handed pitcher who works from a high three-quarter arm slot, shows a balanced leg lift, hands stay close to body. Front shoulder opens early at times, when closed shows good life on fastball down in the zone at 80 mph, flashing arm side run. Velocity will increase with incorporation of lower half. Has a feel for an 11-5 curveball, shows depth on the pitch and a straight changeup at 74. Maintains velocity and can pitch to both sides of the plate. Creates hard contact in game when batting, using a pull side approach. Good student.
