Tanner Loeffler is a 2015 RHP/1B with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Spring Branch, TX who attends Smithson Valley HS. Loeffler has an XL frame with long limbs. As a right handed pitcher he pitched from a high 3/4 arm slot with long arm action and pitched downhill. He threw strikes and showed good balance in his delivery, around the plate with all his pitches. Curveball had 11-5 breaking action. As a first baseman he showed good footwork around the base with soft hands and good arm strength. As a right handed hitter he hit from an upright stance with a good approach at the plate and showed some strength in his swing. Named to Top Prospect Team. Good Student.
