Benjamin Nobs is a 2015 C/MIF, OF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Creve Coeur, MO who attends Christian Brothers College. Nobs has a medium build, hits from a square stance with a deep crouch. Toe tap trigger leads to an aggressive swing. Line drive swing plane with good backspin line off barrel. Stays inside ball well and has good hand path and shows strength in swing. Made hard contact. Defensively, worked out in OF, INF and from behind plate. Was best behind plate popping a 1.94 with good accuracy to second base. From the INF, showed good range and fielded ball out front with a short quick arm action. OF throws showed more carry as feet worked and had good extension. Good Student.
