Andrew Bohn is a 2016 RHP/OF with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from West Des Moines, IA who attends Valley HS. Tall strong athletic build. Balanced delivery with a long extended arm action, 3/4's arm slot, has good extension out front, tends to open his front side early before release. Mid-70's fastball, mostly straight with occasional arm side running action. Curveball is his best pitch, gets good spin with a big sweeping break at times. Nice change up with some sinking action. Throws strikes and competes well. Right handed hitter, stays on his back side, quiet approach, flashes some strength when swinging hard, mostly opposite field contact. Good student.
