2006 Atlantic Coast Top Prospect Showcase
Chip Harsh is a 2007 RHP from Bishop Shanahan HS in Malvern, PA with a 6'4", 193 lb. frame. Chip has a great projectable pitchers body with room to fill out. On the mound Chip throws from a full delivery with a high 3/4 slot. Chip's best pitches were his curveball and slider. His curveball was a sharp 12 to 6 downer CB, while his slider had very tight spin and was his best pitch. Chip showed good pitchability at the showcase and will see even more improvement as his velocity increases. Chip looks to be a solid small to mid-level Division I prospect.
