Samuel Rexroad is a 2015 LHP/ with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Leesburg, VA who attends Loudoun County. Tall, strong frame with good lower half strength. Ran a 7.64 60 yard dash. Releases from a high three-quarter arm slot and the arm action is long in the back. Has good arm speed and reaches 82 mph with his fastball. Flashes hard, late 10-4 bite on his curveball. Breaking ball is a swing and miss, above average pitch for him. Hard to pick up for hitter and attacks the strike zone. Doesn't throw anything straight. Also played the field, shows outfield arm strength. Bats left-handed, works from a wide bases and uses a toe tap trigger. Has a line drive swing path and gets long at times. Solid two way talent with high upside on the hill. Excellent student.
