Tyler Slavin is a 2016 C/RHP with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Earleville, MD who attends Carvel Academy. Tall, slender, young build. Room to add a significant amount of strength. Ran a 7.39 60 yard dash. Shows good footwork behind the plate, arm strength is still developing. Should be better with strength. Hits from a wide stance, has a slight uppercut swing path. Repeats his swing mechanics well, produces line drives. Also took the mound, right-handed thrower, works from a three-quarter arm angle. Has a long, loose arm action and uses a high leg raise. Fastball topped out at 74 mph, spots it. Also mixed a 10-4 curveball at 65 mph.
