Luis Madero is a RHP with a 6-2 145 lb. frame from Land O Lakes, FL. Long very slender build, long limbs, minimal present strength. Balanced back turn delivery, deep long arm action, 3/4's arm slot, some downward plane to the plate, tends to fall off to the first base side on release. Mid 80's fastball topped at 85 mph, mostly straight, got in good command groove with fastball after an inning, maintained velocity well. Good velocity on slurve type curveball, flashes hard spin at times with some 11/5 depth. Very young 15 year old pitcher with a loose arm, should continue to improve with additional strength and physical maturity.
