Jan Michael Perez is a 2014 2B/OF with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Guayama, PR. Slender young build, minimal present strength. 6.84 runner, loose quick actions on defense, has quick hands and good footwork, moves to the ball well, accurate throws with developing arm strength, second base look and overall actions. Switch hitter, rotational swing both sides, taller set up from the left side with more an upper cut swing plane, more level from the right side, takes an aggressive swing but lacks present strength for bat speed. Good student.
