Ryan Skalnik is a 2014 3B/IF, RHP with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Claremore, OK who attends Verdigris. Has a large lean projectable frame with room to get stronger. Has good lateral movement with good footwork. Has a good arm across the infield with soft hands and a quick transfer. Line drive swing with good bat speed and good extension. Has lift in his swing, makes solid contact at the plate and is a gap to gap hitter. Pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with a smooth online delivery. Has good command of his pitches, curveball has late bite and he uses it as his out pitch. Is an outstanding student.
