Alexis Pantojas is a 2014 SS with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Vega Alta, PR who attends Puerto Rico Baseball Academy/HS. Slender young high waisted build, has some wiry strength. Outstanding defensive tools, has run down to 6.49 in the sixty, very quick with plus middle infield range, big arm strength with plus accuracy, can make the quick throw charging or the throw from deep in the hole, plays defense with flair and confidence. Left handed hitter, square high hand stance, short quick line drive swing, loose and extended out front, has bat speed and surprising gap power, can drive the ball to all parts of the fields. Very fast out of the box and will turn singles into doubles and doubles into triples regularly. Top level prospect who keeps improving. Good student, signed with Alabama State.
