Eric Benedetti is a 2014 C/1B with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Mountain View, CA who attends St Francis. Big frame, thick strong build. Works very hard behind the plate, strong arm, good carry on throws, accurate throws, effective blocker/receiver with strong catch and throw ability. Strong hands, ball carries well off the bat, short compact swing plane, stays through contact well with good extension, hit a ball in game action that registered at 91 mph off the bat. Very good student, named to top prospect list.
