William Scretchen is a 2013 OF/1B, LHP with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Colonial. Medium build, lean and wiry, athletic player with some room to grow. Ran a 7.17 60 yard. Shows good arm strength from the outfield, gets underneath and throws high, good potential with his arm but needs consistency, long arm action and moves well. Switch hitter, shows more pop from the right-hand side. Shows good bat speed, nice swing path, hard contact to the middle of the field, has some lift in his swing from both sides, good power potential. Also pitches, works from a low 3/4 arm slot, arm works clean, could get more out of his lower half. Fastball works at 77-81 mph, velocity comes easy. 2-8 curveball rotation, still developing command of it.
