JanCarlos Cintron is a 2013 SS/2B with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Delray Beach, FL who attends Bucky Dent Baseball Academy. Young athletic build. 7.15 runner, good athletic actions on defense, quick first step and quick hands, arm works well, good carry on throws, has some projection. Switch-hitter, much better swing and bat speed from the right side, short line drive swing with sound mechanics, squares up well, hard pull contact, has some extension and lift out front, more of a contact approach left handed, gets barrel out front and looks to find the ball, spray line drive contact. Young player with some tools. Very good student.
