Decker Branch is a 2015 C/RHP with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Flower Mound, TX who attends Flower Mound HS. Slender build with some projection, developing strength. 7.71 runner, young actions behind the plate, developing arm strength, 2.17 best pop time, has some foot quickness and agility receiving. Right handed hitter, tall narrow stance, preloads hands, short swing, stays inside the ball, spray line drive contact, will improve with additional strength. Also pitched, compact arm action, 3/4's arm slot, effort release, mid 70's fastball topped out at 76 mph, short 68 mph slider shows some promise. Very good student.
