Christopher Davis is a 2015 OF/LHP with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Burlington, CT who attends Avon Old Farms. Medium, very athletic build. Ran a 6.93 60 yard dash. Moves very well in the outfield, charges hard, and gets rid of the ball quickly. Flashes quality arm strength and should continue to get better. Bats left-handed, works from a quiet setup and carries his hands high. Hits well to the middle of the field. Looks like a top of the order hitter. Also took the mound, touches 78 mph with his fastball and works from an over the top arm slot. Mixes a changeup that he keeps down in the strike zone, and he also shows natural cut on his fastball. Throws a curveball with good 12-6 depth. Throws free and easy, and does a good job of locating his pitches. Excellent student.
