Christopher Karstens is a 2014 LHP/1B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Wilburton, OK who attends Panola HS. Medium build, room to get stronger. Balanced on line delivery, opens front side early, low 3/4's release point, long extended arm action, slow overall pace to delivery. Low 70's fastball, topped at 74 mph, good run and sink at times, gets good sink on change up, soft sweeping curveball, throws strikes and competes. Left handed hitter, very open stance, doesn't close to ball, uppercut swing plane, stays inside the ball.
