Vincent Gemma is 5'9" right handed pitcher from Revere, Massachusetts, with an above average understanding of how to pitch. He has a simple, balanced delivery with a high hand break and a short arm circle. Gemma’s fastball was 80-83 mph, but he used his curveball and especially his change up interchangeably with his fastball at any point in the count. Gemma’s curveball was 64-67 mph and he’d occasionally drop down from standard ¾ to low ¾ on right handers to give them a different look. Some of Gemma’s curveballs had a big, sharp sweeping break. Gemma had a lot of confidence in his 66-68 mph change up. It had plenty of deception and Gemma used it aggressively. He doesn't rely on overpower hitters, but he’ll get a bunch of them out in the future.
