Jared Hardage is a 2014 LHP/OF with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Taylor Lake Village, TX who attends Clear Falls HS. Nice pitcher's build, tall and lean with some present strength. High 3/4's release point, cross body on release, throws downhill with good angle, has some developing arm speed, lots of effort with head jerk in delivery, will need to calm things down to repeat better. Steady upper 70's fastball, topped out at 80 mph, fastball mostly straight. 12/6 downer curveball with good tight spin and depth when release out front. Good arm to develop if he can make delivery adjustments. Right handed hitter, big upper cut swing from high hand set, takes a big hack, has raw bat speed but lots of swing/miss. 7.21 runner, aggressive outfielder with some arm strength. Good student.
