Jack Gifford is a 2014 SS/3B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Wall, NJ who attends Wall. Long lean build with good athleticism and strength. Hands field cleanly on the infield, gets in good position, throws have carry. Tools project well for 3B. Right handed hitter tall stance, minimal load with hands. Wide base that produces very good leverage. Short swing with a direct path to the ball. Uses hands a lot in swing. Right-center field hitting approach. Most comfortable on balls middle of the plate in. Very good student.
