Jimmy Titus is a 2016 SS/RHP with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Stafford, CT who attends East Catholic HS. Medium athletic build, good present strength, pretty mature physically. 6.94 runner, light and quick on his feet defensively, works through the ball well at shortstop, lots of natural athleticism, very strong arm with a long and loose arm action, very accurate. Right handed hitter, simple swing mechanics, short stride with a quick and short path to the ball, limited lower half use at present, pull to mid field line drive approach, could extend better with lower half adjustments. Two-way prospect, fast paced leg raise delivery, gets turned well, mid to low 3/4's arm slot. Fastball to 90 mph with lots of tailing action when down, sweeping slurve type breaking ball with good depth, threw strikes. High energy player who does everything well. Very good student, verbal commitment to Bryant.
