Devin Caybasi is a 2013 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-1 172 lb. frame from Smithtown, NY who attends Smithtown East. Lean, athletic build with lots of room to add strength. 3/4 slot on the mound, controlled leg raise, easy delivery with loose arm action. Stays tall in motion and gets good downhill plane. Fastball shows arm side run and late movement, Sharp curveball with late bit and sink on changeup. Moves well fielding at first base, long arm action, ball comes out well, Left handed hitter, wide base with quickness in bat. Squares balls up, simple mechanics at plate.
