Max Smith is a 2011 RHP with a 5'10", 145 lb. frame from Decatur, Al who attends Decatur HS. Smaller build, young look, developing strength. Simple leg raise delivery, slow pace, stays balanced well, palm up in back, high 3/4's release point, repeats delivery well. FB consistent 76-78 mph, good sink on fastball, nice feel/action on change up, short CB with 11/5 shape, arm action more suited to slider. Young and should keep improving. Good student.
