Ben Kirby is a 2011 MIF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Burlington, ON who attends L.B. Pearson HS. Slender athletic build, room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, open spread stance, rotational swing, swings hard, some back side collapse and uppercut swing plane, mostly left centerfield contact, finds the barrel consistently. 7.17 runner, gets in front of the ball well, short quick release, accurate throws. Good student.
