T J Montgomery is a 2011 LHP with a 6-5 190 lb. frame from Rockmart, GA who attends Rockmart HS. Tall slender build, very good pitcher's frame. Smooth delivery, easy effortless arm action, low 3/4's release point, somewhat cross body, tends to work against his front side. Fastball up to 84 mph, good arm side running action, repeats delivery and pounds the K zone with his fastball, can hit corners, sweeping curveball with some tightness and bite, change up is pretty straight. Has the ability to keep improving with strength/adjustments.
