Christopher Cordova is a 2013 MIF with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Monroe, NJ who attends Christian Brothers Academy. Smaller athletic build, good body life. 7.21 runner, quick first step, works through the ball well on defense, soft hands, throws carry well, high energy hustling actions, looks like prototypical second baseman. Pre-stride approach hitting, hits inside the ball, opposite field line drive contact, stays back and lets the ball travel, loops hands under occasionally, hustles out of the box. Good approach to the game.
