Cody Moore is a 2012 RHP/OF/SS with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Cypress Falls HS. Solid athletic build, some present strength. Back turn delivery, lands very closed on the side of his foot, lower half locks up, over the top release point, loose arm. Low 80's fastball, topped out at 83 mph, mostly straight and often up. Good curveball spin, flashes sharp biting action, good arm speed on change up with nice running action, throws off speed for strikes, needs to make the one key adjustment to open up his lower half., 6.89 runner, athletic outfield actions, long and strong arm, can also play the infield, low quick release with nice carry on throws. Right handed hitter, simple swing approach, straight stance, limited load, quick hands, short line drive swing, squares it up to all fields. Solid all around player, does everything pretty well, should continue to improve.
