2009 National Underclass Showcase - Session 1
Christian Uchytil is a 2011 3B/P with a 6'2'', 180 lb. frame from Anaheim, CA who attends Cypress HS. Slender athletic build, some developing strength, projects well. Good arm strength on defense, good actions side to side. Balanced stance, good weight shift and approach, loose easy swiing out front, extended finish, has some bat speed, good game swings, hits under control. Also pitched, potential 2 way prospect, mid 80's fastball topped at 85 mph, good arm side run, occ cutting action, curveball flashed tight spin and good depth, some feel for change up, went after hitters aggressively, threw strikes. Grades out better as a pitcher at this point. Good all around player.
