2009 National Underclass Showcase - Main Event
Ben Arkin is a 2011 3B/RHP with a 6'2'', 175 lb. frame from Coral Springs, FL who attends Pine Crest Prep School. Nice athletic frame, should get stronger. Open stance, looks to pull, aggressive swing, good hand strength, showed his power, good bat speed, hitting tools to develop. Nice infield arm strength, will need to work on hands/balance. Also pitched, FB to 84 mph, CB has good spin, long arm action, has deception in delivery, still developing command. Could develop as either 3B or RHP. Excellent student.
