Corbin Olmstead is a 2012 3B/RHP with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Thomas Jefferson HS. Big strong mature build, especially in the lower half. Two-way prospect with higher pro ceiling on the mound. Side step delivery, simple pitching mechanics, arm works well, high 3/4's release point. Steady 89-91 mph fastball, fairly straight and often in the middle of the plate, big deep curveball has some bite and effective, nice change up with ideal arm speed, three solid pitches and command. Right handed hitter, likes and needs to get extended, swings hard, has bat speed and lift in his swing, power approach,.
