Jace Herrera is a 2011 RHP with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Apopka, FL who attends Wekiva HS. Solid athletic build, good present strength, some projection left. Slow paced hand drop delivery, stays on line and balanced well, high 3/4's release point, clean arm circle, throws easy and under control. Steady 87-88 mph fastball for 3 innings, heavy FB with plus sink at times. True slider with very good depth at times, gets on the side at times, quality future pitch, nice change up with arm speed and deception. Tries to work in and out, stays low in the zone.
