Connor Shipman is a 2013 3B/RHP with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Brookfield, WI who attends Brookfield Central HS. Big athletic build, broad shoulders, lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, open stance with a wide base, long rotational swing with good extension out front, handles the barrel and makes consistent contact, line drive swing plane. 7.58 runner, good hands at third base, clean quick release, accurate throws, will have to improve lower half quickness. Also pitched, big leg raise delivery, compact arm action, 3/4's arm slot, repeats delivery well. Fastball to 78 mph, lots of fade and sinking action, gets some action on change up, did not throw a breaking ball, threw strikes and had quick innings.
